Introduction

Data analysis in the Framework™ is performed using the Gamry Echem Analyst™. We have provided analysis scripts suitable for analysis and display of all Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy data files. We will use one of these standard scripts to analyze the Tutorial data file. We do not need a special tutorial analysis package.

You normally invoke the Gamry Echem Analyst from the Framework Analysis menu selection. The Start Analysis function in the Framework makes the Echem Analyst the active Windows^® application program. If the Echem Analyst is not running when you select the Start Analysis command, the Framework program automatically starts it.

This tutorial demonstrates:

• Use of the Framework Analysis Menu to start the Gamry Echem Analyst
• Loading a data file into the Gamry Echem Analyst
• Defining a region of interest
• Fitting a spectrum to a standard model
• Transforming and rescaling the display
